What can I say, the shareholders voted this situation into play. I doubt that they will come after more, but if they do I am sure that all of us will take the time to combat it. They certainly know what this board feels about it. We know they received an epistle from Mr. Big and probably some feedback from your sources.
The bonuses in the past were given out on January 31. The only recipient so far this year has been Harry who ostensibly took a cut. We will have to wait and see if the others are awarded anything for 2002 performance.
If we lose the Ericy case, all we can say is that these guys inherited some bad patents from their predecessors. If we win the case, Ericy may be able to post the appeals bond, but they cannot get around licensing going forward because they will be faced with a cease and desist.The one thing for sure is that the efforts in the US, Germany and Sweden on 2g got us a seat at the shark table for 3g.
The judge reset this case which resulted in allowing Ericy a little more wiggle room. However, I believe that both parties know they are going to trial in May. The closer that date gets, the odds of a settlement announcement will resemble a hockey stick LOL.
