I don't think you are gonna see this in clothing for some time. If it is, it would be very pricy stuff, like official nfl pants that are only supplied to teams, etc.

We had this conversation on the board when they fist made the breakthrough.
I personally of the mind that a clothing company that makes clothing with built in obsolescence would be considered "cheap" clothing.
I don't think you will fund a $2000 Armani suit that is designed to split a seam.
I don't think Kim is planning to try to market this to walmart sweatshops. So when it does make it to the fashion world it will be in high end clothing and sports equipment.
IMO the material will eventually make it to the fashion world but it will be overpriced for the technical market first then as the price drops more high end fashion would get involved.
You can bet there will be some very expensive dresses made when the silk make its commercial debut. I would not be amazed to see a monstersilk dress on the academy awards.
