Carl has lost millions, or rather tens of millions on Celsius, so I have nothing but empathy for him. He was certainly the most scammed shareholder in the company, though, he should probably have also been the most wary.
Nothing changes the fact that CDS now controls a majority of the stock and is owed so much more than the company has that it can take it private if it chooses. His converting half the outstanding CDS debt to equit at well above the market price was a nice gesture, but realistically, he can't even collect the half he's still owed, so equity at any price wasn't a bad deal.
