Did you go inside and see the work spaces, assembly area, and parts storage part of the business - and talk to Mark, John or Steve?

"All this being said, the sales are not really picking up. CAPN,"

I prefer to take the word of the following folks who are actually involved with IWEB's business and product sales. This is not an all inclusive list and is very easy to find when reading the companies PRs. What I really like is it is a representation of both internal company management and associated distributors.

"While winning new customers over the competition is a strong indicator of technical superiority, unseating a long established competitor in a customer's data center makes the ultimate statement about IceWEB's position in the marketplace," said Steven Toole, Chief Marketing Officer at IceWEB. "Integration with VMWare vSphere 5.0 cluster combined with IceWEB's enterprise-class availability, data protection and tier 1 application performance gave the customer the best value over the competition in this case as it undoubtedly will for countless other similar organizations."

"High availability is critical for our clients dealing with massive amounts of both structured and unstructured data, such as the US Air Force, Army, Navy and West Point Academy," said Christopher Lazzari Applications Engineer with NJ-based Videobank, an IceWEB channel partner. "IceWEB's scalability to 1.8 petabytes with the IceWEB 7000 series is a great fit for our clients who need high availability as well as enterprise scalability, robust features -- all at a competitive price."

This addresses your concern about IWEB's products already being antiquated.

"While Big Data in the mid market may not be of the scale and proportion of Big Data in the Fortune 5000, mid-market organizations are equally dependent on leveraging their information assets to make intelligent decisions. IceWEB will continue to develop and refine its Big Data offerings, including several key technology alliances currently in development which will be announced later this year."
IceWEB is already working with numerous mid-market companies and government agencies to enable Big Data initiatives using Cloudera's Apache Hadoop file system.

"More often than ever, we're seeing government customers such as Frederick County Maryland opt for the performance, features and reliability they absolutely require, without adding unnecessary complexity to an already complex virtual and cloud data center," said Mr. Dale Foster, President of Promark Technology, IceWEB's Distribution partner for this procurement. "IceWEB's longstanding, solid reputation for quality in highly-sensitive public sector data centers combined with the company's incredibly robust unified storage offerings at a competitive price make it difficult for smart government CIOs to choose anything else."

Due to the sensitive nature of the company's mission critical data, IceWEB is unable to disclose the customer name at this time.
"Our customer is a very astute user of IT and was extremely attracted to IceWEB's robust performance, advanced capabilities and price point relative to expensive vendors," said Tom Kusiak, Regional Director of Sales for Wheat Systems Integration, IceWEB's channel partner for this deal. "The value was clear. The ease of use and responsiveness of the system along with the strong sales support from IceWEB and Wheat convinced them to move in our direction. We are seeing this trend repeatedly among our customers and we anticipate a continuous stream of similar deals in the near future."
