more than anything it is just a fun hobby that I spend a few short hours a week doing when I am bored

most of my research I never post - it just goes directly to the SEC, FBI, and other contacts I've developed over the last couple of years

sometimes though I'll post some research because the impact it can have helping investors and other researchers in the long run is too significant to pass up

maybe, just maybe a few bad guys will end up in jail (some already have) and a few investors will learn some things that will help save them from major losses in the future

To add to ND's and Janice's replies, as Wilford Brimley is famous for saying, "it's the right thing to do".

If even one I-hubber avoids the researched scams like the plague then all the effort is worth it. It is reasonable to surmise that many dozens of I-Hubbers benefit from the DD Support Board and Fraud Research Team.

Still, as Cromwell Coulson, CEO of the OTC, said at the SEC's Roundtable for Microcap Securities, "even with all the warnings and protections the System provides that they " can't protect dumb investors".

To be aware of scams or to not be aware of scams is a choice.
