Sometime in my Army career, back when I was a young, ambitious, gung-ho troop, I 'volunteered' for a training session in 'point shooting' using some sightless BB guns. It only lasted ... a couple of hours or so, maybe, and we never got nearly as good as you describe in your post, but I do recall it was amazing just what one could do in just a short while, with the right guidance.
I don't know if it was a 'take-off' from this guy's methods, or what ... but I do recall it was fun (I never had a 'shooting' class that wasn't!). Of course, I never practiced the skills afterwards ... and they, as many others I formerly mastered, have long ago fallen by the wayside. Your post jogged my memory of the class.
We're often capable of doing more than we would imagine, though.
