Its way worse than bashing, and let me tell you why.
1) People that "cheer" stocks are twice as deadly to investors because if you believe a hyper then you usually invest and lose money.
2) On the contrary if you believe a basher you don't invest zero-net.
But everyone hates on bashers, because they believe so much in their investment. After all it is nature for unsophisticated investors to believe that they are right when more often than not the novice always loses. So then you have 100's of novices reinforcing the fact that they must be right. Right or wrong is a personal decision.
Even one person like this Vegas guy, can cost people thousands of dollars, I'm sure it has already.
