Wrong, bashers are worse. They can cause people already invested to panic sell, causing them to lose money. If they had waited and done their own DD, they might have sold at a more opportune time.
Especially if the stocks run way up.
Nothing wrong with DD that shows negative things about the company or raises questions, as long it is backed by some real investigation and facts. Thats not bashing.
Pumping a stock without good solid reasons is bad too. But people who invest in a pumped stock without doing their own DD deserve what they get.
But bashers who scare people into selling stock when they shouldn't are real slimy....
