Now related to Home Depot USA Online; as shown in the first reference post; 1000+ was in the top 1/3rd of products in its category (189) previously reported by Eric (2nd qtr 2011 filing I believe). I looked online tonight Paint: Cleaners, Thinners & Removers (top sellers) and it was 49/183 (still in top 3rd off ALL products); it was 39/113 for online products (just outside top 1/3rd).
I think those are really good numbers given where 1000+ is at in the USA initiative.
We've been online in USA (HD) for 10 months now; it appears to be showing well (as test) for future placement in stores imo (a top 1/3rd position with no advertising support are good results imo). With further expansion by Do it Best and Lancaster (and other initiatives in USA) - odds are increasing imo
This is similar path to how we landed in store listing with Home Depot in Canada, first starting with an online listing.
