DS,

Oil is hovering at $ 106 a barrel and only predicted to head higher. Notice how the PPS has been moving past the .02 mark and peaking into .027 and then dropping slightly today?????

My secret sources have indicated that oil will head higher and the PPS of EEGC will catapult the moment the drills have hit dirt! Now that the oil in the ground is more valuable, don't ya think that the people working with EEGC would know what they are risking? The fact that a virgin oil region is just waiting to be exploited? Koreans love to work fast! and when there is money to be made, they work even faster!

and don't you think it odd that the Tas govt recently made a point to mention Asian investments need to be secured??????

Good thing I have 100,000 EEGC salmon in my fishing boat....FULL STEAM AHEAD SAILOR!!!!

Drunken Sailor: TB was asked the question about the investment and he said he believed money had begun to flow and it had. Empire have confirmed receipt of $100k.

Yes, you are right, nothing will come as a surprise I am sure, maybe a nuisance, but not a surprise. However, I am sure that Empire are representing the truth. The fact of the matter is that there is a signed Option Agreement. It is NBD's decision whether they exercise that option in whole or in part. Am certain that before they parted with $100k they would have satisfied themselves of the prospect and undertaken their own due diligence on the same information that HPS would have been provided with. So would imagine that on the basis they are proceeding, they rate the chances of GS somewhat more than 2% as is rumoured to be the case.

Thinking about it logically and irrespective of what has gone on in the past, if the Koreans were satisfied of the chances of GS (and bearing in mind the extremely high price of oil) they may not want to release upgraded information about the prospect until all other factors are in place, just in case they do have to apply again for the licence, should they miss the middle of May deadline for whatever reason.

In suggesting it could be a scam, are those individuals suggesting that NBD are not real and Empire has published faked documents? Or is it being suggested that NBD are not serious contenders and have gone through all the trouble of lawyers and signing contracts for some other purpose?

Not really sure how emailing someone can really help, as it is relatively easy to fake an email reply.

However, one thing I am certain of, is that if Empire published those contracts knowing they are fake, then the directors would of course be guilty of a criminal offence and face a lengthy jail term.
