There seems to have been a lot of information delivered in questions after the event that was not public knowledge. Some clearly incorrect, eg believing money was already flowing from NBD.
If we could have nice clear accurate and unambiguous announcements that let everyone know all the facts, there would be no need to grasp at techniques like e-mailing people to find out if what we are being told is true or not.
If, as was said to the oilbarrel audience, NBD / Nemo have been involved with Empire for that long, then nothing I said in my e-mail will come as any surprise to them, will it?
I worded it in a very positive way for two reasons, firstly I hope I will get a response, though nothing can be read into a nil response, either way. Secondly if NBD / Nemo have decided to take a punt on EEGC, when no one else will, having done their due diligence (according to their website that is one of the key services they provide for other investors) then actually people should take a good measure of confidence from it. It will not suddenly put oil where there is no oil, nor will it triple the thickness of coal seams, nor miraculously turn high ash thermal coal into valuable coking coal. But if NBD are genuinely prepared to take a punt, then why shouldn't those who like the odd ultra high risk investment in their portfolio and are not putting in money they can't afford to lose have a punt as well?
If on the other hand it is a scam as many people believe then best the emptor is warned would you not agree?
