If you were around long enough you would remember that many of the Licenses were staked in Ken, Tim and Melvin's names....The staking fees are much less for individuals.

Here are two examples that went directly to Kat Gold Holdings from the individual Stead names:

Many others were transferred from the Steads names, to Kat Exploration, then again, transferred to Kat Gold Holdings.

This old map screen shot (below) shows an example of Rusty Ridge Lic. belonging to individuals in the past before being transferred to Kat Gold Holdings. Now the three Rusty Ridge Claims are in Kat Gold Holdings name.... (other than the newly staked #020010M, which is in Kat Exploration Inc).
