Very interesting read, thx for sharing. My take is the software security solution will never win the battle. Biggest problem is lack of urgency and wanting quick fix....upgrade more software.
Author may be right, govt may have to mandate real changes in security design to break the stalemate.
IMO, explains again why Wave has such a challenge changing the industry. People in general are lazy and installing software ez and familiar. It's smoke and mirrors...regulation may be needed to force security to front row.
I have read clues the govt may finally make a strong move to change security requirements. May take a bit, but once they say YES major changes will take place and Wave in sweet spot. But will take time an SP will suffer...I do see light and think many longs will be rewarded.
