beischens,

Let me add a little to your fodder, if I may.

Without getting into too many specifics here, let me suggest..........

1) That you'll need more dust....say around 90,000 tons per year...at what cost?.....depends upon the raw fuel used

2) Instead of just selling electricity, sell steam also. You would have +/- 6,000 lbs/hr with a ballpark figure of $7.50 per 1000 lbs which would add around $325,000 year to your bottom line

3) Sell the ash for fertilizer..........you should have around 13,000 tons per year.....modest estimate of $25 a ton gives you another $325,000

4) Manpower......3 shifts, 8hr each, power plant and dust facility.........depending on local wages....say $550,000 year

5) Power cost to run your facility.....2 megawatts, +/- $900,000.......even if you are using some of your own generated power

Much more to consider.......

Thought Folder, cont...

Your cost of the power plant is grossly over estimated. It would be about half that.

I also didn't notice you include the cost of savings on waste disposal. It can be about $1 to $2 Million per year. Add that to your income/savings.
