Correct on the Gatorade...Tiger's brand wasn't selling and they ended the deal. It also had nothing to do with the "incident".
There was another bidder for the bag, but I don't remember if it was ever revealed who that was.

No "source" was needed for that information, it was publicly stated by Woods himself. I heard it during an interview.

wexhu, it was this past Monday and I won't reveal the name but let's just say it was within TW's inner circle. I own 55,000 shares and this is not something I would post on a whim.

Let me help you out with this one. It was Fuse and another company (not Gatorade) and Tiger liked the drop technology. There was/is another name being talked about that is as big as Tiger. Endorsements like this don't come along everyday..and when they do there's plenty of time given and research done by the endorsement team.

Interview with Adam Adler (former CEO & Founder) on www.under30CEO.com, Adler is quoted saying Tiger turned down a new deal with Gatorade. Tiger has never refuted those claims so I would assume it was accurate.
