You provided me with interesting reading as usual ... .
I do NOT agree with Peter Gleick's definition of SCIENCE.
Gleick is an intellectual THUG who believes that SCIENCE
is a form of democracy, a Rule by Consensus among the
Scientists. He wouldn't feel this way if he was in the 10%
who disagreed with a popular Consensus.
I believe Science is a body of knowledge that has been
established by, and only by, the Scientific Method.
The Law of Gravity has been established via experimentation,
and NOT by a Consensus among Scientists.
In my opinion, Richard Lindzen, NOT Peter Gleick, has the
proper attitude toward Science and scientific research.
