#14499 RE: hmitwatch #14498

i emailed the NY SEC office looking for confirmation of the date and time provided, to date I still have NOT received a response. I really didnt think they would write me back if there is indeed an investigation that is ongoing.

I can say though that I did speak with a an ex-employee of ALTO on the phone in October, and it wasnt just a boiler room guy, but one of the higher ups who did say SEC was eyeballing Klok and it would indeed be the NY office that was going after him, so to me it makes sense, at least the NY part. I wont mention names so dont bother asking, and of course my info cant be verified either so take it for what it is worth.

The SEC investigation is just pure speculation until they (SEC) release something, so I wouldnt put a whole lot of faith in what you read on the internet.....I do think Klok would look good in an Orange Jumpsuit though.... :-D

HMITWATCH -

While the SEC may not disclose such activities, many public companies report on hte existence of such investigations and I believe that is their responsibility to do so.

Agree any info posted here should not be for the purpose of frustrating the efforts of the SEC or other regulatory body - but citizens are free to share whatever information they may have in their possession regarding ALTO or its wrongdoings.

The SEC does not typically disclose such things not only to protect the integrity of an investigation, but to avoid causing damage to the reputations of subjects in the event the allegations under review are found to be unjustified.

Again, I have no problem with public citizens disclosing such information in good faith and unless it for some reason actually compromised the investigation I do not believe they would care either. Shareholders should have access to any information available.
