I think there are only one or 2 machines in the world that can actually create liquidmetal and I think one was funded by Caltech although I could be wrong quite honestly. One of the issues, of course, was the exorbitant cost of the machinery. Obviously, that's not really a problem for AAPL so they did probably contract whatever manufacturing they had to a 3rd party, but AAPL would have to fund the building of the machinery. Pretty crazy stuff...Would anyone love to know what is really going on here??? The typical AAPL secrecy is infinitely intriguing along with that CT Order, the deals with Materion and Engel and the Merrill stake. Ahh, if only I was a fly on the wall in Steipp's office...
