J&J recently bought a company with a disinfectant product that didn't work for close to a billion dollars, or about $4/share.
If the reason you'd recommend taking a 2 dollar offer is so you could get your money out, there is no need. A verifiable offer would push the sp to the offer price without having to accept it.
