NEI- any truth to this thread re: "NEI is now only producer for Symantec"?

Huawei tried to make a push into U.S. They opened up shop and tried to acquire some U.S. companies. Federal regulators stopped that from happening then shortly after the announcement that the Huawei/Symantec joint venture was ending, Huawei announced that it was closing U.S operations. They are currently in the process of shut down.

agree... so the new Symantec exec backup line available this spring that was originally announced would be produced by both will only be made by NEI? Maybe reading it wrong, but this is not the same line as the netbackup 5220 already being made?

A closer look at the NetBackup 5220 reveals hardware monitoring and phone home features--sounds exactly like NEI Ace.
