Overloading the boat sets an investor up for failure more often than not. I am an advocate of taking conservative positions in hopes that they will more than make up for bad moves that available information would not disclose.
We each build our risk tolerance parameters on experience, make rules, break them and learn whatever lessons we may. And yes, it may look like we leave 99% of the opportunities on the table, but it only appears that way when you take a snapshot view. The forest hides many things, cougars, bears, deer and opportunities.
Well, I think that we have a hot one here with HLNT. The market appears real and now we just watch to see how management performs. So far, it is looking very good for a little start up venture.
