BIIB has smart people -- worth watching. IDEC did better from the start (a Genentech spin-off), whereas Biogen stumbled initially (contamination in production pathway IIRC.)
They were some of the first very few biotechs to make a profit, so presumably many of the original crew are long gone, but they got it right at the start, when biotech was at its earliest commercial stages.
