noone will buy the device if it isnt to 'spec' after that.

and, noone could even fake a device like that

no tis not!!!!! that is year's old news and nothing even confirmed that then - have you tried call USDA to see who/when/where this fictional machine was supposedly used.

How did the USDA fund this? Is there a grant number, a publication or a budget item you can refer to?
