Why would TDA close out the position that's in the money to begin with? Why wouldn't they just exercise it?

Yeah... had the issue before with ZECCO where they closed some CRM calls that would have netter another $5k before expiry..


Actually had some Options expire ITM on the last day with my tradeking account, where they went and bought then sold the shares ... funny chit

Good idea on getting that fixed and appreciate the info!!!

so do you have to let them know that you don't want the options exercised every time before the expiration date, or is it just a one time for all? i use etrade and they say you have to call them. just wondering if I might need to let them know before every expiration date. thanks!
