Hey mforema, what you were reading about institutional block orders not holding true in the penny stock arena is accurate. As a matter of fact, 99% of the time institutional investors won't go anywhere near a penny stock. If someone on the board mentioned something about institutional orders, it was most likely because of some kind of strange movement that they saw on L2 and not because of the order size. The bottom line is there is no way to know for sure who is buying what, and even if an institution were buying, the order size, in this arena, wouldn't tell us anything. I hope this helps. :-)
