tangent, I for one believe every word both Merritt and Goldberg said when they stated they were talking to companies all over the world. I also believe proving that S/E was a trigger in the Nokia arbitration was an important part of early negotiations which will result in new licenses as well as upgrades in existing licensees.
If IDCC winds up licensing all of their technology even a % less than 1 is a huge amount of money considering most every wireless device may provide revenues. Just yesterday an article was pasted here that said 1 billion handsets will be sold in 2009 versus 200 million TV sets.
What a huge difference that is and stop and think what will happen when all the wireless devices like refrigerators come into play.
I hope everyone can find good reason to hold their shares like so many others have done and currently management is in that group too.
