First Debate #415 Passed.

From National Assembly:
Bill 415, which establishes a special regime for the protection of mineral resources, water and environmental issues in the region Gnäbe Bugle, was approved unanimously by the Commerce Commission of the National Assembly.

The committee chairman, Rep. Raul Hernandez said he was given the necessary time to the different representatives of community groups Gnäbe Bugle to make their contributions on some points on which they were not satisfied.

In the interim approval of the project 415 in the first debate, was eliminated Article 5, which refers to all existing concessions and domestic or foreign companies for exploration and exploitation of mineral resources and construction of hydroelectric projects within the region Gnäbe-Bugle, surrounding areas, territories and Bugle gnäbes communities outside the area and immediately suspend all work being carried out such companies.
