hrbart: That would be a gamble that IDCC will prevail at the CAFC. It's a 50-50 guess as to what will happen.
IMO Interdigital is worried that they will not prevail because they filed suit on the newer strengthened patents. It's not been their style to juggle more than 1 ball at a time. Now, they have several balls in the air and may be using a shotgun approach or flinging $#!+ at the wall, hoping some will stick!
So, if you feel the way I do (and the logic dmiller uses), wait until it happens. Then jump aboard the train leaving the station rather than being aboard and hitting a brick wall.
