I feel we have something good in the pipeline. The gentleman from SilverLake was on CNBC this morning. Of course he didn't mention RTGV but there are rumors that SilverLake is looking at buying yahoo....My comments are far reaching but something larger than all of this could be circling the company.
I like Reggie. I like DC. So at the very least explore some other otpions though by bringing in another company they can RM with. After all, if this tech is so good, certainly another emerging company would want a part of that right? What I, and I think many don't understand is how this company remains so quiet while their stock tanks. It is really mind blowing. How does that install any confidence from shareholders that RTGV has their backs? It doesn't.
Massive. FAIL. It is time to start protecting what they have!
Yes at this point I do. I dont blame Reggie for any of this he inherited an absolute mess and im guessing he has quite a headache now.
The reasons I think they need to wipe the slate clean is because of the stigma that goes along with what RTGV is. The first merger failed and people became very skeptical especially considering the delays and the reasons for the delays. Then they get this " new and better" merging parter with this great CEO DOM and more promises including a the awarness campaign, Cloud debut, a celebrity endorsement along with a share buyback. Now I ask you as IR what of these has occured ?
Noone believes anything anymore. Its like the boy who cried wolf by the time RTGV actually has something to show (if that ever happens) investors arent going to care. Too many people have been burnt and heard too many promises that haven't been close to delivered.
Management has absolultey disapointed all long term shareholders here and Im guessing most are going to cut their losses if/when this thing ever moves up and move onto something else. I know to me RTGV is nothing more then a lotto play at this point which is something I Never thought I would be saying about this company EVER.
