TDAMERITRADE gave me pretty much the same reply today:
Thank you for your inquiry. The Washington Mutual ballots should be mailed out within the next few business days. Unfortunately, an exact date has not been given to us. Shareholders should receive this information within the next week or so. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions.
