You may not actually have to take steps to grant the releases. It well may be that you are deemed to have granted them if you don't submit a ballot opting out of granting them. This should be clarified on the ballot form that should be available on the internet soon.

I would contact Weil's office and ask them what you as a shareholders would have to do to get a ballot.
