Member Score versus Bladder Score

Your "That's my 2 cents" to Saturday's quagmire on "post new"
helped beyond belief in my opinion as it quickly curtailed what
was to become a multi week discussion stuck in that mire of
thoughts of the quacksalvers types, that speak before thinking :o)

Now your mention of a Member Score has me in the dark since
you speak of it as someting different than Perople Marks, i think.

Now i'am very interested in this topic since an inmate currently
in iHub's Jailhouse of name Joemoney recently tried to use what
can be described as cluelessness of a large order of magnitude
to plug numbers into an equation to determine good, neutral & bad.

For example, i suggested in a PM to BobZ to calculate net worth
of the next MDC contest using Score = People Marks + Filter(ed hits)
to determine, as Matt mentioned, the value added to iHub. Noting that
this quanity would be calculated 1 month after close of the contest
so that enough time would elapse to allow new registered members
time to allocate time to join iHub in an active mode, and this would
allow other members to identify a positive, neutral or negative attitude
towards them using People Marks and the Filter option towards them.
This hopefully would address jmhollen's concern that a registered member
with zero posts still represents a valid registered occurance since
the potential for non zero cannot be measured initially, as in a few weeks.

ok, enough of gotmilk's un-normal type posting,
as i have a rep-puke-a-tation to uphold,
needing a bark bag :o) by readers

Bladder Score = Filter(ed) Count (divided by) Total Posts Made

This means that a dim-wit of hight order of yuckness
posting a zillion dumbo posts a day,
will have a lower Bladder Score than say gotmilk
with the same Filter(ed) Count and low posting count.

(or) higher Bladder Score signals greater depth to pee-off-others

now,
from above
... calculate net worth of the next MDC contest
using Score = People Marks + Filter(ed hits)
and,
correctly BobZ did not do a dummy and "correct" me
with,
using Score = People Marks - Filter(ed hits)
since,
BobZ being of an science & engineering type mind
a.k.a. mathmatics
knew that Filter(ed hits) was a negative quanity
so that x + y was really an [positive] + [negative] in above.
ok,
Now i'am clueless on the Joemoney reference i made above.

Joemoney posted a public post on the Jailhouse board,
and for you of Silicon Investor history knowing of a Jill Jail,
imagine a Jillhouse thread on Si :o)

To make Joemoney's public post to me a short description here,
imagine Joemoney unable to distinguish between good & bad,
as in postive & negative, as in left from right where he is mostly
of a left as in left-field rather than right field a.k.a. correct field.
but,
Joemonies Joedummies is really a sad Joefunnies since not only
was his reply to me a Cut & Paste from a Bashing Others for Dummies
self help manual book, Joemoney does a miss'n n clueless act
where he knows not what he says except for that "it sounds good."

The variable can have either a positive or negative value,
and this need not be displayed or factored in until a computer is done.
or, Joemoney knows not where on a Zero'ed axis he is :o)
