Don't know if you noticed, Philip Virgo has nothing to do with the US DoD. However, he is connected with EURIM with which a certain Lord Renwick is also associated. You might want to interpret the article and Wave mention in that context.

Hi Barge, when Philip referred to top end security, I believe he was speaking to user and device authentication.

As you know, this is what Steven and Wave have been preaching as a starting point for Trusted Computing for what seems like ages.

I certainly agree the Samsung agreement seems more Consumer-Mobile-Entertainment-centric.

Wave was riding Dell's coat tails, but now we're on Samsung's magic carpet!
