I go the impression that the guy who hired Smite has worked with him for a long time. It appears that Vince pressured this guy (according to Smite's posts) to not pay Smite by threating to withhold future work.
The question seems to be if Valcom is not paying anybody right now or if it's just Smite in particular.
Legal is going to reduce Smite's $ collection by 50% and it's probably not going to do much considering Valcom's existing suits.
