Yes, I am happy with the tractor.
Mine is the generation one style and came with the 2 year warranty. It is a good running tractor, starts right up in the cold weather, and gets the job done. It does not have a lot of bells and whistles, but I really did not want to pay 8 grand more for the Mahindra 5035(used demo model) I was looking at in order to get a transmission with a shuttle shift. The Newer generation Tytan models do have some more bells and whistles, but the price point is still very close to the generation one models. I think Mark has a good plan, and I am waiting to see it unfold. When he starts getting in the 125 hp models and sells them for 30 to 40 grand less than the some of the other major brand 125 hp models, we will see how brand loyalty stands up to that test.
I hold a large position. Like many others on this board, I am in the red as well.
Either Mark is lying about everything, which I find hard to believe. OR - he is telling us what is going on in China to the extent that he can. If he is not lying, and he has distributors for Tytan in the UK, Poland, Africa, Australia, Canada, and America, I feel the market cap is incredibly low. If he has these distributors and YTO afforded him the opportunity to distribute Tytan through their established distributors, then that lends some weight to the concept of some kind of JV with YTO. If this happens, then this might be one of the rare pinks that manages to go big. I have placed my bet with the knowledge that at least one of their products is certainly real (my 504).
Has anybody considered the idea that Mark could enter the market with a price point and quality that others simply can not compete with? If he can do this, and if it might take a few years or more for others to catch up to this kind of pricing in order to compete. Then would it not make sense to try to enter the market in one big splash - in order to maximize sales and take as much market share as possible? I do not know that this is happening - I may be totally wrong - but it is just a thought.
