observeriiii, while that's certainly a possibility, I'd speculate that it's much more likely that appointment is a "sweetener" providing an additional stipend w/ paid business expenses for nothing more than a couple of conference calls a year. Extra bucks so he will be "understanding" while serving on the compensation committee. But yeah, I'm a realist and a skeptic. Such appointments are not unusual at all, especially for a family controlled business. Trust me, the family is not going to change or give up control. Actually this type of thing should now be expected behavior. I believe it is and is the major reason the share price continues to struggle and why there are so many shorts. Others see the glass overflowing. To each his own.
