some brokers like Fidleity still trade CXAC. SO yes volume is still possible.

i can still buy and sell with tdwaterhouse here in canada if im not mistaken

DTCC only controls trades in the US. I believe investors on foreign exchanges can buy and sell CXAC freely. But I may be wrong.
