I agree with your comments as it seems stupid for the ITC to give them an extra 6 months of sales for no reason?

IMO the ITC didn't want to put HTC in a position where they would have to pull products off the shelves and if that's the case I think the ITC is wrong as infringers should feel the pain of losing revenues just like those whose patents they infringed.
