I will continue to evaluate Matt based on his actions. So far, he's promised much, and failed to deliver. On top of that, he seems to truly believe that all of the poor PPS performance has absolutely nothing to do with him.
I think Matt probably has some personal pride, and doesn't want to fail. But past that, I don't think he would put his personal financial interests in jeopardy for the benefit of shareholders if given the choice.
He's milked this thing for several years, and there is no reason to think he won't continue to do so. He just needs to keep the shares flowing, until he is ready to cash out on his severance package.
Then, he can travel the world. Maybe sell an ice cream cake here and there, just to keep busy in his early retirement.
