The most wonderful aspect of the MIT 1000a is the machine needs no lab to do the testing. The Molecular Detection System just announced by 3M cannot do spot checking with immediate results while food is being processed and packaged. Then you still have to buy the test kits for the Molecular Detection System; where, all you need is water to buy for the MIT 1000a. The Molecular Detection System is simply a smaller version of the last model, to save space. Two testing processes were put into one to make testing faster, but not nearly faster than the MIT 1000a. MIT 1000a laser technology to read pathogens is new innovation and ingenious, to say the least.

There is no competition as of yet.

Why do you post that? It's been posted, here, more than once, that there is vastly superior competition that is also much better funded than MMTC...utilizing light scattering laser technologies...to detect said contaminants...

Did you forget the far superior system that, effectively, will put the MIT on the ash heap of failed "products"?

Much better hardware.
Much better software.
Much better funding.

All in my studied opinion.
