I was afraid of that. The lack of a credible transfer agent can be a real problem.

If this has happened at Scottrade, it may happen at the other big trading houses very soon.

It may be a good time to lock in profits while it's still trading, if you have any concerns at all.

hopefully that is just a Scottrade thing temporarily and not a DTCC thing, which would hit all major brokers who clear through them.

I'm in another stock that the DTCC put a lock on last July and is still locked. really stinks the control they have and don't have to answer to anyone.
But the other stock was locked after a couple of days where the volume exceeded the entire float, so there's bound to be a LOT of NSS there.

this volume has been quite reasonable though in comparison
