Got a bogey on that post! The PR specifically mentions TCG 1.2
devices.

GENEVA, July 11, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- STMicroelectronics (STM, Trade) today announced volume production of the ST19WP18 Trusted Platform Module (TPM), and confirmed that more than one million of the TCG (Trusted Computing Group) 1.2 devices, complete with software stack, have already been delivered in Q2 2005 to a number of major PC motherboard makers across the world. Embedded in a PC system, the module increases security by enabling validation of both the personal computer and its user, as well as providing secure storage for critical data and passwords.

One putt,

As I understand it, Dell buys motherboards from others and assembles the PC's from components. So the STM shipments would not go directly to Dell.

Revenue flows initally from STM to Wave shortly after shipment.

Additional, potentially greater revenue then may then flow to Wave from the motherboard manufacturer.

The greatest revenue results from the sale of Wave's other software products that provide greater benefit to the consumer.

The STM shipment is the first modest revenue stream generator but is necessary for the subsequent greater revenue streams to occur.

I could be wrong but that is how I understand it.
