It appears Virtra still has a lot of market share left to grab. Found a press release for when Meggitt bought FATS in 2006. While FATS had a much larger product line, ranging from weapons fire training situations, including small arms, air defence, anti armour, vehicle/vessel mounted and air support, they had sold over 5,200 simulators in 50 countries and had annual revenue the year before being bought out of $78 million.
Virtra's booth is not far from Meggitt's at the trade show today and they are the same size. FYI, Virtra's booth is 30x30, and at $30 a sq. ft, it costs them $27,000 for this booth.
