Question..Should Nokia resist the obligation to timely report, and pay the covered 2G sales as per the Binding Arbitration Award, could it have negative consequences for Nokia since it violates the terms of the IDCC/Nokia January 29, 1999 Master Agreement, Patent License Agreement, and or the TDD Development Agreement? TIA

For clearification, the other 8% eventually pay up or negotiate settlement. Correct?

Thanks

Of the other 10%, less than 2% are actually appealed.

Loop,

Clarification please. In your statistics on appeals, are you saying that of the 2% that are appealed, 1% of the appeals are successful OR 1% of the arbritrations are succeesfully appealed (meaning that one half of all appeals are successful)?

TIA

<Of that 2%, the guys I consult with say 1% or less are successful and these involve a wrongdoing by an arbiter.>

IMO, The only wrongdoing by an arbiter in this case was the one appointment by Nokia. Where is the integrity? Should have been a 3-0 decision, and we all know it.

Ghors here's loop's post, I am still unclear whether he means 1% of 2% are succesful meaning .0002 overall (if my math is right .01 * .02= .0002) or whether he means half of those appealed are sucessful 50%?

Maybe he'll clarify?

90% pay up immediately. Of the other 10%, less than 2% are actually appealed. Of that 2%, the guys I consult with say 1% or less are successful and these involve a wrongdoing by an arbiter.
