Mentioned something about this a few months ago. It looks like the need for farmland is not going away, what with China and India developing and turning more to meat as a result. Looks like the ethanol program doesn't hurt either.
Farmers probably are one of the only groups with some with cash to put to use, buying and/or upgrading their equipment.
The favorable situation in the farming community certainly can't hurt in helping a fledgeling tractor company get off the ground.
