not really, Say I buy XXXX at .0001 then I put it for sale at .0003 once people buy all the .0002's .0003 will be on ask and either and .0001 OR .0002 will be on the bid! Those shares for sale at .0003 may just be my shares or a mix of mine and others!

Now if XXXX is 5mil(bid).0001 and 2mil(ask).0002 and I decide to buy at the ask 2.5 mil at .0002 I would take out the ask and it will automatically put 500,000 share on bid for .0002 with .0003 on the ask.

As far as "market makers" are the only ones selling at the bid is complete BS!

People that buy at .0001 and the stock gets to .0003 and there is .0002 and they don't want to wait for their shares to sell at .0003 and want out fast they could sell on bid .0002 (bid whack)

All talk about "MM's" taking it down is complete BS imo.. Someone is selling and wants out if you see a ton of "bid whacking"

Hope this helps!

Hey tb sometimes you can't sell at the ask. Often when momentum dies on a run you have to sell at the bid if you want out. The only way selling at the ask works is with upward buying pressure. That is one thing L2 help to see is which direction the momentum is carrying the stock. If heavy buying pressure stops nobody is buying at the ask and you are looking for a exit the bid is your only way out.
