Hardball, to me i see it as a good thing. The fewer phones nokia sells, the less the volumn discounts they get...and therefor, in theory, will pay more per phone. If people are instead buying SNE, Sharp, Nec, Samsung (which we'll eventually get at the higher rate), among others, then we are ahead. I look forward to the day when nok is a middle of the pack market share supplier....and decisions like the one BestBuy made only go towards accomplishing that! I hope others follow suit.

I guess we see the Best Buy thing differently.

As we know, the U.S. market is second only to China, and is one of Nokia's worst, from a share standpoint, and one of Samsung's best.

I would much rather see Samsung sales than Nokia. Hopefully, this will put more pressure on Jorma to recognize IDCC's patents in 3G or, at least, help to get Delaware behind us.
