I still say that even if NOK loses a substantial amt of money, it's still a blip on their butt. Why would they halt there stock? It's much more material to IDCC than NOK imo.
It may be that NOK intends to treat this as a non-event if, as we hope, IDCC has a clear win. Such a position would be best in terms of their stock price IMO. To treat it as important would emphasize the loss to NOK. They have the provisions already in place and so it should have no impact financially, at least as far as their books are concerned.
