Bears are still a minority. Look at put/call, VIX, or anything else. Most people are still trying to buy the dips, and citing oversold conditions. And CNBC is parading one bull after another.


Here is another observation.. Foreign markets are making news highs and look relatively strong. And Bulls think this is positive.

I'll take a contrarian view and say that US stocks have lost leadership, and its obvious that money flows in US stocks has slowed. Instead most money going into bonds and foreign equities, and US stocks are in the last place people want to put their money. This also means that performance chasers will be staying away.

In the last six years,the 4Qs only had one green July[2003].Ave QQQQ dump in July the other five times was....6.17%.That's QQQQ 34.53.We'll see.
