Not true at all. Negativity can be out of pure frustration with management and further declining stock prices. You can still believe in a product and think the stock is gonna succeed. Also some are in so deep that it would be very detrimental to sell at this point. You are obviously welcome to your opinion but I disagree in your recommendation and someones motive for complaining.
